Woman’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs)
UN UNITED NATIONS DEPARTMENT FOR GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT (UN WOMEN)
UN Women is a United Nations organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women. UN Women is the global advocate for women and girls, established to accelerate the fulfillment of their needs. UN Women supports women's participation in all areas of life and has identified five key areas of focus: increasing women's participation and leadership in politics and decision-making, contributing to women's economic empowerment, ending violence against women, ensuring women's participation in all stages of peace and security processes, and integrating gender equality into national development planning and budgeting. Additionally, UN Women coordinates and supports the UN system's efforts to advance gender equality. As Coşkunöz Holding, we proudly became a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
